Here are some early pictures from Troop 457 at Camp Babcock-Hovey, July 17-22, 2005. I put these online in a hurry, just to give you an idea of what the facilities look like. I have more, and will be getting many more from the other folks in the very near future.
Apologies for the poor quality of some of these images. My camera fogged up several times from the extreme heat and humidity.
After you park, you walk down a road. On the right, you'll see the Trading Post. On the left, right after that, is the bridge that leads to our campsite. After crossing the bridge, straight ahead is a very large field which is used for physical fitness activities and the C.O.P.E. field. To the left of the bridge is the Health Lodge and on the right is the shower facility. Walking past the showers, you come to our campsite, Delaware.
If you go back over the bridge, behind the Trading Post is the swimming pool area. Continuing down the road, the Penn Yan lodge is on the left, and the dining room is next on the right. There's a path past the parade ground that leads down to the Lakefront area, where there is a swimming area, canoes, kayaks, and boats.
